Routines or like for nearly 12month old

DD is nearly 12months old and I would like to get her into a better routine. She really only cat naps throughout the day however on the odd occasion she'll pull a big 2 hour sleep in the arvo. She gets fed to sleep and given a dummy. As well as being rocked/patted/jiggled etc back to sleep.

For a while there it was working well and I had no problems doing what I was doing. But I'm getting to the point that I can't keep doing it. It's really doing my head in because she has started not doing straight to sleep as well as waking at 4 in the morning.

I've tried to get her to self settle and very rarely it does work but mainly not. She can out scream me :rolleyes: and will easily cry for as long as it takes to get what she wants. I don't really like the idea of cc but sometimes I have to let her cry and hope that she falls asleep. She has never cried herself to sleep or self settled since she was 6 months old. Up until then it was a breeze with her sleeping etc. Once she started solids, everything went out the window.

Someone please help and save my sanity...

My DD went through this phase and maybe unfortunately for you, she is only just coming out of it. She is now able to self settle (but only just in the last few weeks) and I can put her down in the cot and leave ehr and she goes to sleep on her own. She's also started to sleep the night through again (yay!!) only a few times so far but we are getting there.
