"Ovulation" pain
If I wasn't 36 weeks pregnant, I'd swear I'm ovulating right now!!
I've been getting that tugging, pin pr1ck ovulation pain on and off all day. What the?
Anyone else had something like this? Don't know for sure, but surely it must be impossible to ovulate while you're (very very) pregnant. What else could it be?
Weird.

I would never have thought of pr!ck as a swear word, never in a million years.
I think what you're describing is what I would call mild menstrual-like cramps which I've had, too, and I think it's typical pre-labour stuff.

Mmmmm I have been wondering this too! I wonder what the reason for it is, but I have been getting exactly the same, in my right side. Hope the pain doesnt get too bad for you guys.

It went away after a day or two - I was wondering if maybe it wasn't a cyst (I've had them before). Either way, very strange! :)

Snap Tish, mine went away too. I have PCOS so I was wondering about cysts too. Hope the pain doesnt come back!

I've had this pain too on and off over the last couple of weeks. I've assumed it's part of pre-labour (period like cramps)?

I'm not sure if my ovulation pain is the same as yours, but my ovulation pain usually feels like very short rapid twinges low down on left or right, not painful. I've been feeling these again the last few weeks (i'm 35 wks along), on my left side, but i"m convinced it's the baby's hands/fingers moving down there. But the feeling for me is rather much the same as what I get during ovulation. So yours might be bubby movements!
