Poo Explosions!
Help! My 3.5 month old son used to poo 5 times a day (yep, breastfed) and has finally cut down to one or two. BUT, this has now resulted in explosive poo's that ooze out of the nappies. We are using Huggies Infant (he is 5.7kg and they are from 4-8kg). It is becomming quite embarassing and I feel I can't go anywhere as it goes all over him, his clothes (and on the last two occasions the pram as well). I have to literally strip him off and wipe him down and put new clothes on him. Has this happened to anyone else and what can I do about it? The next size up (toddler) are way too big for him and I know I'm not putting them on wrong.
Has anyone else had this problem?

are they the new huggies? I've heard there is a lot of leaking going on with them...
(you could always use cloth.. heheehehehehehehe) ;)

Powelly My DS used to do the same  I moved him into the Infant size Huggies after this was happening and found that it stopped. You can only buy the bags of this size nappy at the supermarket but Babies Galore stock Jumbo Boxes for around $50 but have heaps of nappies in them. I only found this out just as DS was about to move into the crawler size.

DD2 does the same. The bigger nappy does help a bit, but some poos are just so explosive that nothing will contain them. I just always make sure I have a change of outfit in my bag. I mostly use BabyLove or Aldi nappies, sometimes Woolworth select. I find sometimes it is the position she is laying in or being held in will affect whether the nappy leaks or not.
