Okay I know it is rude to ask for people's height and weight / size , but I was curious about when I could expect to start showing. I look bloated right now at 7 weeks.
I would like to know when women a similar size to me started showing. I am a size 12, 62 kgs, 167 cm tall. This is my first bubba :).
I am a 12 & was with my 3rd pg.
I think I weighed about 64 when I fell pg & am around the same height as you.
I looked a bit bloated at around 8 weeks, but thats what it was. It was also my 3rd pg. I started showing at around 4 months.
With my first 2 pgs I was only an 8 - 10 (57kg when I fell pg with DD1, about 60kg with DD2) I didn't show with either of them til past 6 months.
I hope that made sence.
I don't know what the rules are with starting to show - but I am only just starting to show now at almost 21 weeks (and it's still only enough for myself and DH to notice). I'm not the samle size as you - before I fell pregnant, I was very overweight, and I carry a lot of my extra weight around the tummy - so I'd say that has a lot to do with me only just starting to show.
As far as I understand, when you start to show is dependent on your height, weight, length of torso... and I think chance has a lot to do with it! I knew a girl who was very slim, and she didn't start showing until she was 7-8 months! She didn't really look pregnant.

I'm showing alot more than my friend did at 22 weeks pregnant and she was a much smaller frame than me!! It depends on so many things.....
Yeah, I think it was my height that held me off a bit with the girls. Being my 3rd & the little bit of a belly I gained between DD2 & DS would've been the reason I started showing a bit earlier.
I remember I was about 24 weeks when I went to visit my Grandma with DD1 (when I was at my skinniest 54kg due to severe m/s) & she aked my Uncle after if I was pg & said she thought I was only about 4 months.
We have very straight grandparents, so kept it quiet for a bit as I was only 17.

I think that people that didn't know me started to notice at about 5-6 months!
I think I had a small belly, my daughter was 6.6 pounds born at 38 weeks and 2 days...
I am so excited for you, anticipating your first baby bump is the best!

With #1 i was about 65kgs but i'm only 156cms tall. I started showing at around 16 weeks.
With #1 I was about 67kg and 160cm - I started showing about 19w
This time however (still same height & weight) I started showing at about 10w
A friend of mine was a little lighter & a tad shorter than yourself and she started showing very early at 11-12wks ;)
She is pregnant now with 2nd bub and again is showing very early :)

I wa a similiar height/weight to you. My belly started being obvious about 20weeks, but then if you didn't know I was pregnant you would think I had just put on weight. Which I had. My butt started showing about 10weeks:rolleyes: I put on about 6kg in the first trimester due to m/s. When I ate I didn't feel sick and I went off vegies and chocolate and craved meat, carbs and chips. I had a boy. My weight gain did slow down a bit thankfully. All up I gained about 15-16kg. only got a few kilos to go now but don't look too bad and can get back into a lot of my pre-preg clothes, nto looking exactly how i'd like but not too bad.

with my first bub, I started out at 58kgs and I am 173cms tall. I have just recently seen pictures of me at 20-21 weeks and I would say this is when I started to show to others, but only if in light clothing.
Now, with number 2, I started out at just under 60kgs (and due to being on IVF I was not so fit). I had heaps of bloating in the first trimester which settled down, but still I think I started showing at about 16 weeks to others. I a lot of my friends see me in my running, cycle or swim gear however so it is a bit more obvious. But now at 22 weeks you can see my bumb VERY well under winter clothes as well.
I think it's really different for everyone and everyone carries differently. Some people can be tiny and still not show for ages and some bigger ppl show really early!! So there's no predicting it, lol. And I know, you really wanna know when you're gonna get that gorgeous bump!!
For me, this is my 1st, I'm 158cms and was 52-53kg, and I was showing by 12 wks. Now, you can't miss it.
I was 68kg, but put on 30 odd kilos during [regnancy, I didn't get a pregnancy bump until about 28 weeks. Before then it was an i ate too much cake bump.
That early in your pregnancy can be caused by a distended stomach which will go back down soon enough ;)
I'm 5.7" around 70kgs and only about 10 weeks but partner thinks i getting very slight bump - but only so we can see.
I'm a bit dubious though (maybe bloating) - although it certainly wouldn't be from overeating - i have gone off food almost completely particulary red meat, chips, carbs and salty food (which i usually love). :rolleyes:
i'm really looking forward to having one but also probs won't like it when i do have it? :wall:
I started about 72kgs and 172cm and didn't really start to pop until the 20 weeks. You could tell in some clothes about 16weeks - it really depends on the clothes I think.
Hi there, my husband thinks I already have a babybel at 8wks but I just got back from a holiday in America and think I have simply put on weight. Either that, or I am bloated. Not really quite sure.
