OPK Help Please!!!
Hi all!
I did my first ever test today, and it was negative. Just a question though, will the test be negative if I have already ovulated? I only ask as I have had all the signs (CM, pains etc) and am now so disappointed with the result :(
It has been 77 since my last AF, and I have only recently started taking vitex in an attempt to regulate my cycle. I have also begun charting, but its not really making much sense as my chart dosent have a real CD1, and I am stil getting used to temping.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Cheers :)

You can't tell from a negative OPK whether or not you have ovulated yet. Unfortunately only a sustained temp rise will tell you that. Other signs such as EWCM and ovulation pain may indicate ovulation.
Your OPK will turn negative within a day or so of ovulation, so if you had those symptoms a few days ago or more, then you would expect the OPK to be negative. Good luck sorting it out, it can be difficult to begin with, but all of BB is behind you .

Thanks for your reply oscaroscar. You actually confirmed what I was thinking. Hopefully I will get it sorted soon. Just hope I'm not projecting ovulation symptoms on myself because I want it so badly, IYKWIM!
Hope all is well with your pregnancy :wiggle:
