Chickenpox !!!
My little man has been a little under the weather the last fews and yesterday he woke up with chickenpox!! Poor little man, they are mainly just on his face and one pox on the tummy. I went to the doc just to confirm that it was that and yep it sure is!! I have no idea where he got from, but Ido know that its easily spread.
I have been bathing him in pinetarsol and putting lotion on his face (when I can!) and giving him panadol - Is there anything else I can do?
TIA

Have you and your DH had it?
I would put off TTCing this month because chicken pox isn't very friendly in early preg (I can't remember what effect it has but I have read that it isn't good). And make sure that if you or DH have any symptoms get them checked because it can turn into shingles in adults.
Otherwise, check that his fingernails are cut short so that he doesn't cause damage to his skin if he itches and if he does scratch any chicken pox poxs can get infected really easily and scar so use some sort of antiseptic cream on them.
Also, a friend tells me that letting them run naked (or as close as possible to it) cuts down on the discomfort.

That's about all you can do for him. Just make sure that he's comfortable and well hydrated too. At least on the upside he wont need the vax now.

Muppity - thanks for the advice, I have cut his nails!! DH and I have had it b4 and we are not pregnant either (first time relieved to see the test negative!)... He isn't too itchy which is good, just very very unhappy and just wants (.)(.) all day!! Which is fine with me but my (.)(.) aren't used to so many feeds!!
Trillian - He has been on the (.)(.) juice and water and of course his fav tiny teddies!! These are the only things that make him happy!! Oh happy belated Birthday to your little one!!

Whatever makes him happy is the best thing for him right now. Imagine how well your poor old boobs will be working with all this extra feeding though LOL.

Rolled oats in the bath are brilliant to help with the itchyness too.
