...snoring any one?
most likely i'm going to sound REALLY stupid for this...or at least make you lovie laides laugh!
im 23(ish) weeks preg now...and i think i woke myself up snoring! i never snore (DF would tell me if i did!) has any one done this at this stage? i know it can happen, but i didnt know when! i sat there in bed like "did i? naw, i didnt...or wait...maybe i did" for a bit. the cat looked like i'd thrown a pillow at the wall(cat expression was very much like this: :o ) so im wondering...did i infact snore thismoring AND wake myself up doing so? (DF went to work...so he wasnt home...)
any one else woken them selfs up snoring? or got any funny stories about it?

this a very normal thing in pregnancy. With bub pushing on things in there it can make it a little harder to breath.. hence making u snore. I know that i breath reallllllllllly heavy in my sleep, like ive ran a marathon. DP doesnt seem to mind tho.... :)

Hi Dani,
I had to laugh at your post because I too am around 23 weeks and I did the same thing on the lounge a couple of weeks ago. I have always given it to DH as he is a terrible snorer, but now I am getting my revenge...hahahha!!!! I also find that I am snorting alot more, like when I laugh. Very attractive!! My Dr says it is because of the hormones making everything soft in prep for birth and unfortunately the windpipe falls victim to this as well. I have been assured that as soon as baby is born things go back to normal.

LIKE A FREIGHT TRAIN so DF says... i was in denial  have to admit i have woken myself up thinking exaclty the same "What was that" hehe
And lately i have been doing a full on pig snort  that wakes me up now - im 35 weeks HA

OMG YES!!!! I have never been a snorer - but pregnancy has changed that. I am always doing those little snorts as you fall off to sleep, wake up and think "was that me". DH went online and researched as he thought it was hilarious and yes it is a common pregnancy symptom. Apparently hope is out there for us as it is supposed to disappear once bubs is born :)

Ah, that's interesting. I've been doing it lately as well, poor DH is hardly getting any sleep with me snoring and sneezing and heaving myself around in bed trying to get comfortable. I dread to think what I'm going to be like in another 10 weeks!

I snored really badly throughout my pregnancy. I did it the other night too so that worries me a little seeing that I'm not pregnant now. It also coincided with a night that my DF dreamt I was pregnant with twins. I so hope my DF's not psychic.

i snored to the point where i kept dh awake .. usually its him keeping me awake ...
-
i mainly have the really heavy breathing thing going. DH keeps waking me up asking if everything is alright as I breath so heavy!!
-
I'm snoring lots too girls.
Hubby woke me up just last night because i was snoring so loud - i didn't even think i'd fallen asleep yet!!!
I too have been waking myself up snoring loudly lately.
Man, there are so many things that happen when you are pregnant!
As for the snorting thing - i've started doing this too but not in my sleep - just when i'm laughing heaps - so embarrassing!!

No snoring here... but I have noticed that DH is snoring a whole lot more than normal! This thread now has me worried that I'm blaming him for waking me up when it's been me all along!

OMG! I was never a snorer but it got so bad towards the end of my last pregnancy that DH ended up sleeping in the spare room most nights! It's happening again now, so much so that I wake up with a really sore throat! It did go away last time after DS was born, but not straight away!!! So Sexy...!

yep another snorer here. I didn't beleive dh when he first told me that i was snoring because he always denies that he does it. BUT when i went to stay with my parents for the weekend my dad said that i must have been really tired because i was snoring. now when i wake up i have a sore throat from snoring all night. pay back time i guess for all the nights dh kept me awake. haha

O yeah I was like a bandsaw when I was pregnant.... did the waking myself up snoring thing a lot too! You're not alone!
