Anyone TT early? How'd you do it?

My MIL TT'd her kids from 3-4 months by just holding them over a potty and seeing if they'll use it, and they were all totally TTd during the day from around 12 months. Anyone else with experience doing it this early, or with "no nappies"? Just wondering if anyone has advice on how best to approach this.

Basically we'd like DS to TT by around 12 months, though with no pressure on him (we've given ourselves 6 months...)

We've bought a potty for DS and are putting him on it every now and then. So far he hasn't used it, but we figure we'll just keep putting him on it for a little while each nappy change and eventually he'll use it. The idea is that after a while he'll 'get' it and ask for it.... Sound reasonable?

tribal baby is a great site isnt! I dont think you have left it too late. We have been putting DS on the toilet from about 10 months. He still does wee in his nappy but if i can ctach him for a poo he does it in the toilet. It only took a couple of weeks for him to know what it was for and now does most poos on the tiolet. So i say give it a go if you want! Keep in mind its very time consuming!

Hey marcellus that's great! :clap: I don't think you have left it too late at all. Apparently it's best to start before they get too mobile. My DS is 15 months and we are starting soon but taking it slow. No pressure as he is a bit older but not quite old enough!! If that make sense.
