Past due date this time

HI, i was due yest, which isnt a big deal, its only 1 yda past, but when i had DS 2yrs ago, it was exact on time.. I was expecting the same, i know i am just impatient.. anyhow how many people know if they went on time the 1st preg, the same roughly happens the nxt one.. I dont want to go to far over.. People keep telline me i am high, but the baby has started to become engaged, from my last few obs appt, he has made the comment.. I have had no bloody show, but then i dont belive i did the 1st time.. I have had bad back ache on and off the last 3weeks, and the last few days, on and off AF pain.. Gee i hope labour starts soon.. i am very impatient !!!!!!!!!

Because of the way that due dates are calculated they are no more than a good guess so it is actually quite unusual for a baby to be born exactly on their due date. I wouldn't worry too much about it now, just try to get as much rest as you can (hard, I know, when you have another child to look after).

Oh yeah, last time I went into labour 2 days over but this time around I've been in pre-labour for two weeks now and I'm only 36 weeks. I'm booked for a caesar next week so I (hopefully) won't get to find out exactly how much longer this baby would've waited but I'm sure there's no way he'd go 40 weeks.

Hi december,only one out of my five bubs came on the day he was due,the rest were 42 weeks plus a few days and I was induced for three. good luck hun hope bub comes soon for you.

With my DD I was a week early so I was the same - expecting my DS to come early - didnt happen he was 2 weeks late and that was only cause I was induced. I have been hoping that this baby would come early but all I have been getting is BH constantly - I just wish they would turn into contractions!!

Ah the end of pregnancy bites sometimes huh!

Due dates are estimates though - no one can tell you exactly when your baby will arrive and often your last pregnancy doesn't tell you alot either. My two were born at gestations over two weeks apart and that isn't uncommon.

Try not to think about the date, baby doesn't have a calendar in there so he doesn't know what it is anyway ;)
