Not sure how to help, mate. Just wanted to say that feeding to sleep is probably the quickest and easiest way to get him there!
Does he wake when you put him down? I've heard people suggest warming their bed with a wheat pack then removing it just before putting bubs down. Makes the transition easier. Is he wrapped?
Hang in there! I'm really nervous thinking about doing the newborn thing again when I'll have a 2yo at the same time! I think you're doing a champion job!
Hi, thanks for that. 9 out of 10 times, will wake minute his head hits the bassinett mattress, then we start all over again, may try the heated idea. ta

The first few weeks are the hardest. Just remember that.
Have you tried laying down to feed him? I've had to do it out of desperation countless times, then once DS is asleep I either sneak off, or if its possible I have a sleep too. (Probably been that lucky about twice though!)
Give it a go.
It will get easier very soon.
Good luck.
Feeding to sleep was the only way I could get all 3 of mine to sleep for a long time. It's kind of the norm in my case ;)
I still feed jacob to sleep, sometimes he wakes when i go to put him down other times he doesnt! if he wakes i need to feed him again more a comfort suck than anything, other times he will suck his thumb.
good luck
