Okay....

I am wondering if anyone has had an experience like mine.

A bit of background. For the past 8 weeks I have been having weekly "healings" with a very beautiful friend. This woman has amazing Gift & her treatments leave me absolutely relaxed and yes... healed!

She works on chakras etc etc... Well due to the experiences I have had during the past few years my chakras ae in need of a bit of work let me tell you! I had these healings thru my last pregnancy but I feel I need the really in depth work at the moment.

My chakras are now looking pretty spiffy according to my healer but my crown chakra had a massive gunky clean out that left me feeling exhausted for the very first time in all the time I have had healings...

Anyway I was told that I could expect my intuition to peak - dreams, visions, etc. Okay... that has happened. At the risk of sounding delusional and trust me being a nurse I have begun to flip into "sensible mode" at times. BUT - since Thursday I have blown 5 lights - if I touch the switch they blow... The telephone won't work with me - (not a sad one but still...). Another friend was here when two consecutive lights blew at home... But at her house I did the same! So it doesn't make sense that it is electrical. I have heard of this happening.. I hope someone comes in here and says YES! or I may look like a complete fruit cake! :redface:

Firstly good on you for getting this work done for yourself- i know when i was pregnant with Shane i had a few sessions with an energy facilitator who did wonders for my frame of mind an well being- which you saw yourself with my "positive attitude" during my pregnancy.

Now i cant say that i have experienced what you have quite on that level after my sessions- but i can say that often my feelings an emotions appear to create chaos with electrical items.... i can recall one day in particular- i was feeling EXTREAMLY frustrated (cant actually even remember why just now- but i am sure it was aimed towards DH :p) and i arrived home and all i wanted to do was hop onto belly belly- well my computer just DID not co-operate, it would not connect to the net- it became slow and pages would open and close without me doing anything and ones i wanted to open would freeze- so i thought ok, i'll watch some telly then... well the telly also decided to cark it- we have digital television and it just kept flashing "no signal" Now i was already frustrated- so you can imagine how i was feeling about now!!!

I ended up taking a deep breath- went for a walk and calmed myself down- had a cup of tea, and then sat down infront of the computer again and calmly said i really wanted to sign into BB- turned it on- and wa-lah... it worked perfectly- the telly which i had left on suddenly snapped back and my fave show appeared before my eyes.

I would definately say you are not going loopy... i beleive our personal energy can influence other energies around us- you are most likely radiating all your built up energy and letting it all loose- and the result is that some things around you (the light bublbs etc) are just being overwhelmed by your energy.

I would say in time once all your energy has been released and you begin to balance out a bit things will stop blowing around you- but you will retain that balance!!

In the meantime... buy lots of light globes!!!:lol:

you don't sound like a fruitcake to me, my mum has this kind of thing happen to her with light bulbs. She seems to have taken it a bit further, every car she has had over the last few years has had electrical problems that no-one seems to be able to pin down & the previous owners never had any problems.
IMO (& I am hardley an expert) your energy field is energised & probably increased therefore causing interference & hence overloads of other electrical things like light bulbs.
Has it settled down, gotton worse, did you get any insights etc...?

Thanks NJD - yes I have had some insights - and the issue has increased! But going with it!

My beloved husband (and many of my friends) will tell you its not a coincidence. I have been at friends houses and average globes have exploaded blue inside the globe as I touch the switch, it has happened at home, in public, at an art gallery, new buildings, old buildings, new globes, old globes, even hallogen (which is not supposed to happen ;)) Usually for me it happens when I am experiencing a specific emotion very strongly. It has happened when I've been very happy, very sad or even very angry. Its usually when I am soooo into my thoughts (almost in a meditative state) that it happens.

Hmmm I think I could do with a few sessions from your healer. I'm feeling a little disconnected and have trouble sensing my guardian.... which is making me a little... anxious? (for lack of a more accurate description!!)

I've got heaps of friends who blow lightbulbs (they keep away from computers now), one girlfriend will drain a mobile phone battery in about 5 mins if she is on the phone when worked up. Had one girlfriend blow a $15k bulb at her workplace when she got angry one night, had another girlfriend walk into the same workplace one night and all the screens went black.

Deb - I'm about to start getting work done on my energy, chakras via kinesology so it will be interesting how I end up - I get upset now and there is a big wind storm - but then again I am an air element.

Definitely not a fruitcake, or rather, if you are I am too ;).

I would suggest you concentrate on grounding any excess energy you are feeling through the soles of your feet and/or palms of your hands into the earth - concentrate on doing this in the morning and a couple of times thoughout the day and see whether this helps with the electrical items!
