Flying with fluid in ear
Does anyone know if it is safe for a bub to fly with fluid in it's ear?
Brock has had fluid in one of his ears at both hearing tests he's had so far and we will not know if it's gone until we go for the next test at 8 months.
We are planning a holiday before then and are considering flying but don't want to do that if it could cause him any issues.

I have a damaged middle ear where fluid gets in and can't get out easily. Not sure if it's the same thing. I've flown with it quite a bit and it just pops a lot earlier than the other ear. I was however warned that it could burst in flight but was a small risk. If it bursts you'll know all about it.
If I were you, I'd take him to a doctor and ask them for an opinion before booking anything.

Sorry, I should add that I was warned about the risk of my ear bursting because the damage to my middle ear means that it can't equalize efficiently....so not sure that it would be the same for your bub. Guess it depends where the fluid is.
