Hi, we have just found out that were having a girl...were very excited! but we cant decide on a girls name...our choices so far are:
Jessica Rose
Amelia Rose
Olivia Rose
Elizabeth Rose
Im leaning towards Olivia (i think!!!), but i like to have a nickname, and i cant think of any...any suggestions?
id love to know what you all think of the above 4 choices...thanks :) i fluctuate between them every day! i just dont know how to decide!!!!
Livvy or Olly are the nicknames that come to mind for Olivia :)
PS. I love the name Olivia Rose. A good friend of mine called their DD that!

I really like both Amelia Rose and Olivia Rose. I am teacher and my Amelia's tend to get called 'meils' pronounced meals.... And for Olivia.... could be Liv or Livvy.

Well Ollie is my absolute fav. But you can also have Liv, Livvie, Livia, Ol, Olive, via (that's weird!!). Pretty name!
The only Olivia i know is 22 and gets called. Liva or Libba. Wierd i know!

The Olivia I know gets 'Liv', but you can go with anything for a nicname - combine part of Olivia with part of a middle name etc, not that any come to mind right now ;)

My little flower girl is an Olivia. She gets Liv or mostly Livvy. :) I love the name, it's one of my extra names after Aislinn.
My DD is named Olivia Anne and she gets Liv or Livvy.
I used to work with a girl called Olivia and she always got called Olive.
I think you're little girl will get called whatever sticks... don't worry too much about nicknames :)

We call our miss Livvy, Miss Livvy Divvy, Liv, Miss O, I would call her Ollie but my cat and my Ds1 friend has that name :) I didn't want my kids to have nicknames at all and especially with Ds1 and 2 we made sure they were onyl called by thier proper names.. Now they all get Ethy, Zaccy, Jakey and Livvy :lol:
Amelia is just lovely too. I do like the other 2 names but they aren't for me.
I adore the name Olivia...it can also be spelt Oliviah/Aliviah.
Livvy & Liv are the only nicknames I have heard for Olivia.

I like Olivia best, but I like them all. I dont like Rose as a middle name becoz its so common. Its like the new Maree or Anne. Nickames: Ollie, Liv, Livie, V, Livia - thats the ones Ive heard. I like:
Olivia Grace (ok kinda common middle name but not as common as Rose is now I think)

I like Oliva Rose the best. The nicknames i have heard for Olivia are Liv, Livvy, are probably the most common.
The problem is that when you think of nicknames they may not alwasy get used and someone will come out with something quite differnt when they are born. My DD is Brearna Lee (Brea - R - Na) and i always thought her nickname would be Brea, Bee or Bumble Bee but no she has had NONE of these and she gets called Banana, Narna or Bana totally nicknames that i never thought i would here...not that i mind as they are pretty cute. But i am sure once she gets older she will get Brea and who know what else when she gets to school.
