Justin Keane - Acupuncturist

Hi Everyone!
Since I was 15years old, my doctors have told me that I would have difficulty conceiving naturally (due to numerous gynae surgeries). The term 'IVF' has since been used whenever conception was discussed between my doctors, my husband, and myself.

So when it actually came time for my husband and I to start a family, I chose acupuncture to assist us. It would seem that this was the best decision I ever made...

I have been seeing Justin Keane (Acupuncturist @ BellyBelly) throughout my pre-conception time as well as my pregnancy - and he is wonderful!! Justin specialises in obstetrics and gynae, and this is what drew me to him. His gentle manner and encouragement allowed me to look forward to each of my sessions, and remain positive in the end result - getting pregnant!

My story is one like many others. We tried to conceive naturally (prior to acupuncture), with no luck. Then we went through IVF (accompanied by acupuncture) and failed. After a break over the Christmas/New Year period, continued acupuncture, and a holiday, we discovered we were pregnant on our own! Today, while I write this, I look adoringly at my little boy Zack.

For unknown reasons, Zack was born 2months premature and had to spend a month is hospital. Not only did Justin help us to bring this little guy in to our lives, but he also visited me in hospital and performed acupuncture on me to try and prevent premature labour! After his visit, we managed to hold off the labour for another week - which helped Zack's health considerably.

I certainly understand and empathise with couples having difficulty conceiving. And I am one of the lucky ones with a happy ending. Many factors may have contributed to our getting pregnant naturally, but I believe that Justin's acupuncture played a dominant role.

Awwww Zack's Mummy, we all love Justin @ BellyBelly. He's a great therapist and very caring and supportive of all his patients, and as you know frequents and supports members in the forums.

Glad that you have been able to benefit from TCM, its a fantastic therapy which I am getting loads of benefits from too. We really need to look more to alternate therapies.
