Montessori???
Hello to all people that use this cool school (Christy - are you out there!??!)
Just a question
We just got an email back from them to say that they have opened up the school to kids that are 15 months and over and the one in Buderim has days free, so we are going to try to get DS in there on the Friday instead of the yucky ABC centre he is booked in to go to.
Now - do we get a rebate thing off the school like we do with child care centres or do they not have that number thing?
(Sorry the accurate description of words escapes me at the moment - its been a shocking night and morning here)
Any help - would be GREAT!!!!

You should get the child care benefit from centrelink. I get it from the one my kids go to:)

Sorry!! I missed this, yes I got the CC benefit & rebates from there. Generally its up until 6yrs old that you can keep getting benefits through Centrelink and Montessori :D

Thanks Christy - he starts next week :)

Cost?
Hey,
Could you tell me how costs compare to a childcare centre? Is Montessori much more expensive?
Ta! Kate.

Montessori was the same price. However, we didn't find their standard of care very good for the age bracket DS was in, so we switched him to a daycare that specialises in them.
However, we still like their principles and way of teaching, so will enrol DS in there when he is older and - toilet trained ;)

Yeah I was reading up on it & its not necessarily designed for kids who are younger... they are trialling a new way of doing Montessori for younger kids at Fig Tree in Brissy? But apparently its all trial atm.
