Am I Psychic?

The STRANGEST thing just happened.

This morning I remembered this guy that I used to be friends with in year 12. He got really creepy and I cut off all contact. He would constantly text and ring and eventually I made up this big lie that I was travelling overseas and eventually he stopped trying to contact me. I'm not sure what made me think of him this morning - it was just a random thought while I was stacking the dishwasher...

I work for a financial institution that supports different organisations and charities and every month we have a different organisation that we support with a 'casual for a cause' day. This month it's the Purina Pet Partners. So this morning we had two volunteers and their dogs in the main branch area. Me and one of the girls went downstairs to see the gorgeous dogs and OMG - there is Patrick!!

I'm so weirded out by it because it was only this morning I thought about him for the first time in about 4 years....

I have things like that happen to me all the time. I will think about something and it will happen. I believe they are psychic tendancies!!!!

Oooohhhh I love it when things like this happen. I think its even stranger when for example you have the urge to call someone you haven't spoken to in ages (or see them) & then within weeks you find out they've passed away. It's wonderful that sometimes we get that urge to make contact before its too late!
Unfortunately mu mum had an experience like the one I mentioned above. She had a string urge to call her brother one night, she didnt get around to it & thought "Oh well I'll give him a call tomorrow night".
He died through the night (in his sleep, he was old). She was very upset that she didnt take the time to call him when she had the urge & I've learnt from what happened to her that if I have the urge to contact someone to not put it off.
But yeah, sometimes I think of someone then my mobile rings & its them! Freaky hehehe

This sort of thing ALWAYS happens to my DH.

Not sure that it means you are psychic though - just coincidence.

Yep totally, we all are. Some of us are just better at ignoring it than others ;).

Either that or it all comes down to the laws of quantum physics (anyone seen "what the bleep do we know?")?

it is when we're more intune with our psychic side, going on hunches etc that they seem to come through more.

I get prophetic dreams happening, actually all of my soul sisters do, we all laugh when we get "lightbulb" moments when something we've dreamed about comes true.

Have not had one of those dreams for awhile, must be pretty out of tune with psychic side at the moment, not that I ever actaully remember getting intune in the first place.

Before having kids I had these experiences all the time and dreams too. After kids ...gone
