Toddler inducing vomitting?

Im wondering if anyone else's toddlers induce vomitting, either by gagging or running around like a looney til they puke?

I know gastro has been going around here but my toddler is perfectly healthy, eating like normal etc. He woke up on Tuesday morning absolutely fine, had his milk and toast for brekky , jumped all over the loungeroom to playschool and then suddenly gagged and vomitted it up everywhere. So I kept him on bland food, no dairy yadda yadda and he has been a-ok since, no more vomitting and back on normal diet. Then last night after a half hour of going looney in his room to avoid sleeping he came out of his room and vomitted again.

Could it still be gastro only really mildly or could it have been from him being silly and sucking back water like there is no tomorrow from his sippy?

How is he going? Maybe all the runnning and looniness has just made his food/ fluids come back up. I remember as a kid I wasn't allowed to run around for awhile after I ate cause I was one of those that would vomit or feel sick.

I would say it's more than likely a little tummy bug. It's strange when kids puke when they otherwise seem fine, but it seems to happen a lot. I've that the same thing happen - two pukes in a few days with them seeming well in between. Just one of those "kid" things I think! I hope that's the last of it for you.

I think it might just be because he was running around like a crazy little man. My cousin's child induced vomiting as a form of tantrum and it was much more deliberate, he would get your attention and make himself sick. Thankfully they just ignored it and he grew out of it. Messy and annoying but nothing to worry about.
