DTD - how often?

Hi all

I'm new to BB and it's great to read about your experiences. Thank you for sharing. Has anyone heard about sticking to the routine of DTD every 2 days (starting 2 days after AF has finished) when TTC? My girlfriend sings its praises but it can all get a bit mechanical sometimes.

Everyone is different, and to be honest thank goodness! I personally cannot stand temping, cmo and the millions of over things.. I did try but it made me anxious.

So I have the three day rule! atm I could probally settle for three times a day! Ha.. hubby has other ideas.

So it works for us and gives heaps of time for the sperm to replenish.. ha..

I dont know how some people can do it timed to the minute it just never would work for me.. just when we feel in the mood.. as long as its in the three day bracket..

Hi Josam, when we conceived Charli we only DTD the once duing my fertile time (on ovulation day) and bingo! Some people swear by every second day but sometimes DTD too often can temporarilly reduce the amount of good quality sperm released around ovulation time, hence actually making it harder to fall pregnant. We are TTC again this month and if my calcs are right it's my O day tomorrow but we havent DTD yet as I've had a tummy bug. But hopefully just the once will be enough again :crossfingers:.

PS: I don't do temps or anything to pinpoint O but I do know I O about 14 days before AF is due and I have a maybebaby I use too.
