Morning sickness, bionic nose & cloth nappies
Hello girls. I have started DD on cloth a couple of months ago and am loving it. However, I am now pregnant and am having some issues. For a couple of weeks I had a mild case of morning sickness (didn't have it with DD at all) but this has now improved a lot. But I still have a bionic nose and am extremely sensitive to smells. I can deal with dirty nappies. I spray the room with Orange Power orange oil room freshener first and turn on the fan before attempting to change a dirty nappy. It does seem to help. My main problem is when it comes to washing them. I wash every second day. I don't really want to wash more often because that would mean small loads which are not efficient. But the urine smell that comes out of the bucket seems really overpowering. I just can't handle it. Is there anything I can do?
I also think that DDs urine (and my own) seems really smelly lately. Sorry if that's tmi. But I seem to remember that happeing during early pregnancy with her, too. We both drink lots of water, so it's not that it's too concentrated because of that. DH has also noticed her nappies being smellier, so it's not just my sensitive nose...
I hope I can find something to help as it is really putting me off using cloth for now. but I don't want to go back to 'sposies.
Gotta go, DD is screaming for my attention.
Thanks, Saša
