this is what my notes re my last birth (attempted VBAC) say, and the ob I saw today kept coming back to it, is this so significant that I will almost definately rupture?
I posted somewhere else too, but I think it was in a sticky and might not get noticed, I need some unbiased advice, even if not what I want to here!

Kate , is it refering to your incision?? Basically if thats what it is, it means that the opening tore further on both sides, downwards. Not sure what the 'both angles' means tho. Why not just ask him/her to explain it to you. It would be relevant to know if it is refering to your uterine inscision or the abdominal one too. The type of repair would be nice to know too. Remember that rupure rates really are VERY low (o.5%, meaning 199 out of 200 uteruses will NOT rupture), and the chance of a severe prob with baby even with rupture is quite low too.
from the little diagram that he drew for me, I was tearing before the incision both sideways out from the old scar and vertically, that that my scar is now all jagged. Maybe he was extrapolating.....
It also says incision over old scar, routine entry, uterus - incision & tears, sutured in 2 layers with 1 Vicryl, 2 further haemostatic stitches, Uterine tone inadequate - erometreine given, Sixe 10 Radivac inserted, sheath closed 1 Vacryl, Skin closed subcut 3/0 monocryl. It has been 2o months since this CS, I have 2 external scars, and I am 3 months pregnant, and my mind set on VBAC
