20th November 2008 - Jack Ronin's new birthday!

I just wanted to let everyone know that my first nephew, Jack Ronin Martin, was born at 3 o'clock this afternoon.

Mum's waters broke around 11pm last night, and she was given an injection to speed things along at about 10am. She ended up with a few stitches, and taught Nanny a few new swear words, but now everyone's happy.

ETA: Jack was 7lb 12oz, and looks just like his dad. Had first cuddles today - that is one schnuggly lil human!! Thanks everyone for your congrats :)

ETA: I've just been told that Jack's middle name is Daniel, not Ronin anymore :) The papers have gone off now, so it's staying Jack Daniel Martin!
