Does anyone know what this comment means on your report from an ultra sound? At my 3rd trimester progress growth and well being scan at 28 weeks they had a comment that said 'The estimated fetal weight is 1403 g +/- 15% (ie; 80th centile for 28 weeks 2 days).
Just curious...
80th %ile means compared to the general population 79% will be smaller and 20% will be bigger than your baby at your stage of pregnancy. In real terms it means very little because ultrasounds aren't hugely accurate.
