Osteo and lying on my belly

Am I too far along to be lying on my tummy for 10-15 minutes when I go to osteo? (17 weeks) I have no idea.
I go once a week or fortnight and will be going throughout my pregnancy so I need to know when I will need to change positions?

I wouldn't I don't even like those pillows with holes in them. But everyone is different I guess. I just remember how sick I felt with DD when I laid on my tummy at that stage.

I still lay on my tummy at the chiro and im 30 weeks. Plus i still sleep on my belly. Everytime i mention it no one seems concerned so i assume its ok!

rayray - does the osteo have a table that they can drop out the section from hip to chest? my chiro has two tables - one that is solid, the other has a drop out section for the belly so that there is no pressure at all in that region - he's been using it for me since bfp cos i was feeling ill with pressure on my tum even then...

BG - no not at work. Work have subsidised osteo, so she has to work with waht she has. its just like a normal table with the head hole, not height adjustable or anything.

I might talk to the midwife about it, or see if i can find one who does have the equip. and specilaises in pg. I really like my osteo though.

is there anyway to talk to osteo about whether they can treat you in a chair - i know a lot of them have chair things you sit on backwards (kinda straddling the chair) so that you're not lying down on your belly...

At the centre we have an expensive contraption that allows you to be on your belly until full term. Clare the osteo loves it, women can turn over better and its more comfy.

probably. she is the one who brought it up as she wasnt sure how long it was safe for me to be lying down. I will ask her next time :)

Kelly, when does the centre re-open after Christmas?

might be worth the trip to the bb centre Rayray...

All of the therapists start at different times... both Clare and Kristen are great, had treatments from both of them :) But pretty much after the new year holiday I think they are back to it?
