Don't know for sure as I've not had the surgery, but I would imagine it takes a while!! Are they still as tender as they were, or are they starting to feel better? I would really only worry if they were getting more painful, but if the bruises are starting to fade then I would think everything happening normally :)
Hope that helps :)
Hi Loula, I had a lap done on Friday and I only have the smallest of normal looking bruises at the incision sites. It can take a while for a bruise to heal, especially if it is a really deep one. Maybe they were a bit gung ho in manouvering the instruments around in there? I have a lot of soreness in my navel and general abdominal soreness too, just not a lot of bruising. I hope it starts to heal soon for you
Thanks ladies
I did have a lot of work done! removal of endo and tubes, shaving of the bowel and putting everything back where it should be!!
You just feel you can do a lot more than you probably should IYKWIM!
