Unbiased Articles etc
Hi,
I'm looking for some unbiased things to read about VBACs and all of the risks involved. Is there such a thing out there?
Everything I read is either Must have a VBAC or Must have a C/S.
It's frustrating me!
I'm looking at making an informed decision about what to do with my next baby. I'm not pregnant yet but I feel that I should be looking at it now rather than when I am pregnant and highly emotional.
Is there any material out there that isn't biased toward one or the other?

There would have to be some out there - sorry that I can't point you in the right direction - I got percentages and info from my OB
hopefully someone can help!

Try some of these:
Childbirth Connection: helping women and families make decisions for pregnancy, childbirth, labor pain relief, the postpartum period, and other maternity care issues.
VBAC.com
Maternity Coalition - Vaginal Birth After Caesarean Infosheet
VBAC Facts
Also:
Caesarean Awareness Network Australia
ICAN - International Caesarean Network
A couple of those sites are US based but the information is still applicable here. Childbirth Connection in particular makes a point of presenting balanced information minus the hype or scaremongering.
If you're looking for something meatier, this is a good link as well:
Bibliography 2005-2009: Vaginal Birth after Cesarean Section
This is a compilation of studies conducted worldwide into VBAC related issues.
