De Quervains Tenosynovitis - Inflammation in wrist
Hiya,
I was just wondering if anyone else is or has suffered from tendonitis in their wrists?
I have been suffering from swelling in my feet and hands for the past month now and then about a week ago my wrists below the thumbs began to ache. The right hand (of course!) has become so sore i can barely move it. If feels like it keeps dislocating when i move it a certain way and is very painful when i have to get it to go back in.
All day i keep bursting into tears when the bones/tendons come out of place as it hurts quite a bit. And i'm normally a toughy when it comes to pain! At least it's getting me ready for labour pains!
I've been to physio once but that seemed to aggravate it more. I put an ice pack on it when i get a chance but not very often as i'm busy cleaning & tidying up at home or at work in front of a computer all day.
I'm worried that it might still be around after having the baby and then i might not be able to hold him very often or for long periods of time. :crying:
Has anyone got any good tips to help relieve the pain?
