I've been on it, & one of the side effects is weight loss, but I wasn't on it for long.
I do have another script to go on it again when I'm ready to stop BFing.
I didn't feel like that though. But it affects everyone different.

I wish LOL!!!!
I got the nasty side effects (nausea, insomnia, loss of libido, etc) but no weight loss.
Stick it out, how long have you been on it?

AD's are working at their best 2-3 months in, and gnerally take at least six weeks to settle in to your body etc. I had an increase four weeks ago and I'm only just getting decent results from it now.
Depression can lead to appetite changes so it's not unusual that it might change things arounf for you.

I had a bad reaction to Zoloft with night terrors. I don't remember losing any weight on it but I know it affects everyone differently. CM is right - it will work at it's best after about 3 months.
If you have any concerns see your GP.
