Almost there opk for almost a week!

I have completed my first IVF cycle, had my first period and we are now trying the old fashioned way before our next cycle. I was warned this cycle after IVF may run "a bit longer".

I am temping an using OPK's to pinpoint O. I previously have found this to be easy and accurate. However, since Saturday (now Friday) I have been having 60% dark lines. I have been generally performing the test 11.30/12 noon and ensuring I have not drunk anything for at least three hours. I know 2pm is the perfect time to test but this time is inconvenient and timing has not previously been a problem for me.

Does the continuous not-quite-dark enough line mean I am having an annovulatory cycle or that I am not quite there yet? I normally O on CD 15 and today is day 18.

Thanks to anyone that might be able to help tell me what on earth is going on!

Just thought I would reply (to me) to say I FINALLY got a positive OPK at 4.30 this afternoon. It is Day 19, so O will be maybe Day 20. I normally O Day 15. So if any other new-ivf'ers look this up it will hopefully be a useful reference for them. In my case, my cycle is approximately 5 days longer this month after my first (and hopefully only) IVF BFN.

Well, DH and I have been BD-ing around the clock. Problem is - I have now had a positive OPK for 4 days running (talk about going from one extreme to another)!

I have googled and read this can be a sign of a cyst (I did IVF last month) or annovulatory cycle. Can anyone enlighten me on how long cysts take to disappear? It would be very difficult to get in for an ultrasound at this time of year. I am due to start a short IVF cycle when AF arrives...

I once had a cyst around mid cycle and it usually dissappers after Af arrives and a new cycle starts. I went back in 3 weeks and its gone. So I guess 2-3 weeks? But I am not an expert on this, so do check it out next cycle...

Did you find out it was a cyst from the US or by a BT?
I guess I am worried, because I am due to start FSH for the (short) cycle when AF arrives - does this mean they will cancel me? I was hoping it was an anovulatory cycle but I have been temping and despite the +ve OPK's am on 3dpo. So all is normal except for later cycle (was warned may happen post-ivf) and darned multiple OPK's!
