Co-sleepers: how do you dress your baby for sleep?
I'm just wondering what other co-sleepers find works best clothing-wise in the following situation:
DS goes to sleep on our bed around 8pm covered by a baby sheet/blanket (depending on the temp).
We go to bed around 11/11:30 (too late!). When we come in, DS has inevitably kicked the covers off and is lying in only his PJs (currently just a T-shirt). At the moment, I'm in the middle with DS on one side and DH on the other. I pull up the sheets so DS and I are covered.
During the night, DS moves around and loses his covers. As other co-sleepers will know, I'm monitoring him all night (even though I'm asleep it seems!), and try to keep some covers on him, but sometimes, like thismorning, I wake up/he wakes (4am) and he's coverless and cold.
DH is concerned that our baby is too cold, but I'm concerned about making him too hot. Has anyone used Grobags/baby sleeping bags and co-slept? I tried it when he was very young, however it was a hassle as he'd get too hot if I covered him with my sheet AND was wearing the Gro-bag.
Any thoughts would be great....
