I offered pick up but they obviously didnt want to do that.
But honestly the thought of standing in line at the PO with 2 screaming children 2 days before christmas when i could easily drive by and pop it intheir letter box eludes me!!!

BUt i dont want to do that in case they leave me negative feedback about postage etc etc....

i'd message them and ask if they would like you to drop it off. most would happily accept this and no drama with postage costs as you've driven over there...

i have emailed them so will see i guess.
if i posted them it would be well over a week with the xmas public holidays coming up.....

I'd just drop it in their mailbox since you live so close and you wanted them to be able to recieve it before Christmas, and then let them know you hand delivered it and offer them a refund on postage.

If it was me you were dropping it off to I would say keep the postage money for your time and petrol.

It would have to be a pretty tight-a buyer who wanted the postage costs back if you drop it off, getting it to them quicker than post. I wouldn't even offer a refund on postage.

I have recently bought something, and the seller is going to drop it off at a mate's place who lives close to them. They have charged $10 for this service (postage was gonna be $20), and i was happy with this deal. They have to take the time, and use petrol to get there.

I would pop the postage $$ that they have paid you in the package, drop it off, then you avoid the post office and any repercussions re postage costs.

As for the post $$. i would be happy to give some back. if they wanted 100% postage money back then i think it would only be fair they drove to my house and picked it up ?? wouldnt you think.

I am just scared if i put the post $$ in the parcel then they may say i didnt and leave bad feedback :(

did they paypal you babe? if they did give them a part refund via it and explain that you have kept half for petrol (only if its out of your way)

Ive dropped stuff off to people and made it clear to what day I was dropping it of on as I have small children
