What sort of dancing do you mean? And did you do it before? I mean if we're talking platform heel pole dancing then it might not be recomended lol!! But if say, you are a ballerina and you want to continue then i'm sure you'll be fine. It's best to go to the Dr first and find out but usually as long as there are no complications then you can continue doing whatever exercise you did before.
You may have to modify some things but as long as you don't get too hot or out of breath you should be ok. As long as you can hold down a conversation then you'll be getting enough o2 and so will bubba.
What sort of exercise did you do before? It's not recomended to start anything major that you've never done before.
HTH :)
I do hip hop sort of freestyle mainly so yeah strenuous out of breath kind of stuff I guess haha. And as much as I would love to do pole dancing in high heels I dont think they will accept a pregnant lady let alone find her very sexy hehe. I think the bump would get in the way of the pole imagine trying to swing around owweee!!! ;)
I'd check with your doctor or OB about it.
Exercise is good and healthy in pregnancy. It's good for you to continue with stuff that you were doing before, as long as you don't push your body too much, and pay attention to how you feel. If you are feeling fine with it, and the exercise isn't something too dangerous (horseriding is out, for example, due to the risk of falls) it shouldn't be anything but good for you and the baby.
I've recently stopped my cycling (at 24 weeks), because I got too worried about the potential of falling off, now that my sense of balance is getting weirder by the day. But I plan to make up for that with more swimming from now on - you can't fall off a swimming pool!
Can't see any reason why you can't carry on dancing, just modify it a bit and be sensible - no backflip type moves! Is it in a class type situation or do you just do it by yourself/while you're out etc? If it's a dance class then just chat to your instructor/choreographer and they should be able to give you some advice...after you've been to the Dr first :)
Haha yeah fair enough that makes sense well I will talk to the instructor as it is in a class so I am not getting one on one lessons, and they maybe able to help out and go from there. I am more spewing at the fact that i cant go go karting I am a very get your hands dirty and skin your knees type person so if someone suggests going paintballing I will cry haha. i have never been a sideline sort of chick with the boys so these next 4 months are going to be interesting hehe.
