Pre-labour
hmm, typically when i take a break from here i need a question answered!
Anyway, just quickly. Can pre-labour start at 35 weeks? And would what i am experiencing be pre-labour?
Been having braxton hicks for ages now but woke up at 3am with one accompanied with cramping just above pelvis. Another wokeme up again at 3:20am and another woke me at 3:50am. Then i slept til 8am. All day today i have been having irregular braxton hicks with every second one having cramping pains above pelvis. Each BH is quite strong to what i usually have and i feel a lot of pressure in my pelvis and bum when i have one. Bub also engaged late last week and today i can really feel his head down low.
I know this can go on for weeks but is it too early for it to start?

i had a 2 week prelabour with dd, strong regular bh, a show over the 2 weeks.
That was 37-39 weeks
With DS i had strong BH from 20 weeks so i didnt go off it. But no show that time.He was born at 37 weeks
Both quicky labours...
so it may be just BH or prelabour. Very hard to say lol - sorry that isnt much help

It sounds similar to my experience. I had STRONG BH from about 33 weeks (started slowly at 24 weeks). Sometimes they would come every 15mins and be really painful. A few times I thought I was in labour.
I delivered 10 days early...so maybe be a little prepared for an early arrival. But, it all depends on bub in the end.
I hope you feel better soon. Just be assured that your body is doing all the right things to prepare for labour, and you tummy muscles are going to be in excellent shape for all that pushing!!!!!
