Did your baby go really quiet a few days before you went into labour?
Does every baby go quiet or just some?
Can you have an active baby the same day you go into labour?
TIA :D

i dont think dd went quiet before... i know she was still kicking on her way out.
I've never really noticed that, but I have read that it can happen as the baby's head engages deeper in the pelvis and is not able to move as freely. However, if you notice a marked decrease in movement, you should probably consult your midwife/doctor.
DD gave me a few massive kicks before my waters broke (I actually think she kicked a hole in the sac!) so I didn't get the going quiet bit.
DS was still kicking around in there til i started pushing
Yeah I've had plenty of movements and squirms each day so no worries at all there.... just curious as to if I should expect bub to go quiet the day or two before i go into labour but I know you should still be able to feel them move slightly etc so you know they are okay.
I thought perhaps I was going into labour yesterday with the "new" pains I was feeling that I hadn't experienced before but it was just pre-labour pains turns out..... bub was super active all day and still is  I think bub is very comfy in there for a bit longer LOL
Jazz was still moving during labour... PITB child!
Chelsea went extremely quiet when i was going into labour....i was so scared i asked for a CTG to make sre she was still ok!
Jasmine had always been quite through the whol pregnancy so nothing changed with her.
As for this one....welll not in labour yet but i dont think anything is going to stop his wriggling!
With ds1 he was kicking less a few days before. Ds2 was generally a much wrigglier baby and didn't quieten down before labour began, he also was still kicking and wriggling on his way out, once the head was delivered I could still feel him moving, it was the weirdest feeling ever!
Livvy didn't quiet down for a second prelabour. I was expecting her too so I thought I was never going to go into labour. She was doing head spins right up until my labour was induced. Once in labour she slept for a majority of it or was really quiet.
i didn't feel DD2 at all the day i went into labour, i ended up going to see my midwfe cause i was worried and my waters brokr there lol not long after she found the heartbeat, bub had dropped way down from not being engaged at all the previous day
DD1 kicked her way out, she was vry active all the time
I can't remember with the 2 boys but this one is a gymnast so i doubt it will stop moving at all!
I jusy wish I knew what was going on inside bcoz I'm sick to death of these pains that take my breath away and send some sort of signal to the boys to want me to do something when I'm doubled over!
Brock was active right up til labour was well established. He may have been active afterwards too but contractions took over & I wouldn't have had a clue if he was moving then.
yes he went quiet and when i rang the hospital to say i was in labour an he wasnt moving much over the past few days they wanted me to go in and get monitored....which i didnt want to, so i didnt. I could still feel some movement, i figured he was just getting himself ready for his big journey.
I thought Darcy was quieter....but the CTG proved otherwise. Obiously my attention was elsewhere....like on the pain.
My ob always told me that was an old wives tale and sometimes a dangerous one. He said if I ever noticed a reduction in movements that it should be checked out asap.
I was in early labour with DS and noticed I hadn't felt a movement for about 2 hours while in the bath. I got myself to the hospital asap even though I thought I had a long way to go - lucky I did because things got a bit hairy in the car park! LOL.
DD, DS1 & DS2 didn't stop moving if anything they were moving more the day before I went into labour!
Oooh, not long to go now Renee! How exciting!
Neither of my boys quietened down in the lead up to labour. Joel was always so active I could even feel him moving while I was in labour LOL!
