1 miscarriage and now looks like another

I am new to this site,so apologies if I come across vague or am posting this in the wrong spot.

I have a healthy boy, 20mths old, he was conceived in one weekend away we hadnt even started trying, pregnancy went smooth. After the epidural and vaginal delivery I suffered incontinence for a few months which was not pleasant. I have been TTC bub 2 for a year. I finally fell PG in August only to M/C at 7 weeks. This PG was a little odd from the start as the line on the HPT was faint 2 days past AF due date. My first HCG at 5 weeks was only 380, it then rose to 780 then 2000 befoe I M/C.

Last week 5 days before AF was due I was getting symptoms so i took a HPT and the line was dark as +, my HCG was 3784 so the DR was confident everything looked good this time. Then 6 days later just after my period would have been due I started to have spotting which then became brownish discharge then followed by menstrual like bleeding only much lighter which is still continuing. I had a HDG yesterday and it was 3400, so it has dropped and the dr has told me that I am probably M/cing again. I am now so confused and I guess it would help to hear if someone has experienced similar or even some positive stories from those that have had 2 or more M/C then gone on to have a healthy baby.

Hun i have never been in this position but just wanted give you lots of hugs, I can't imagine how you are feeling, hopefully someone will jump in soon with some answers for your questions.

1st pg natural conception ended in missed ectopic @ 7 weeks
2nd pg (natural) s/b @ 21 weeks
3rd pg (clomid) missed m/c @ 7 weeks
4th pg (clomid) m/c @ 10 weeks
5th pg (clomid) my beautiful boy :)
6th pg (clomid) m/c @ 7 weeks

I dont mean to freak you but what is happening to you now sounds very similiar to my ectopic m/c I had pg symptoms 1 weeks after AF took test it was + so saw dr who did one lot of bloods all looked great we suspected AF was implantation anyway I started spotting 3 weeks later levels had risen but not by much then the levels would drop rise drop rise etc, anyway personally I would be asking for more bloods and a scan at least then you can know for sure what is happening :hug:

Thanks Rcah75, I am now booked for another HCG tomorrow. I did ask about Etopic and he said he did not think I had the signs because my HCG was decreasing. I will keep asking tho, thanks for the advice. And you have given me hope and inspiration, to have taken 5pgs to have your little boy, your amazng I can not imagine what that would have been like.

I'm so sorry you are going through this. I had 3 miscarriages before my beautiful son came into the world. His conception happened without any medical assistance whatsoever. I had been told my only hope of a successful pregnancy was IVF.... but the gyno was wrong. Please take care.

I have to say, unfortunately, the first thing that sprung to mind was ectopic as well.

I was the same, had this sort of strange bleeding, that was heavier than spotting but not heavy enough to be a period. With mine, my hcg levels dropped but slowly and they sort of hovered. I spent 5 wks bleeding before i queried it because i didnt even know i was pregnant, the bleeding started before AF was due. Had hcg test, it was 74, 5 days later it was 70. They said we could just wait and see what the levels did but they suspected ectopic cos the scan showed nothing. So i told them to go in and look. They did and it was ectopic.

So i dont want to scare you but i think you should definately get a scan to see if they can see anything. Just in case.
