When you have bled in early/term pregnancy, what kind of bleeding was it? (i.e light, heavy, colour, etc etc) and when did you get your positive pregnancy test? and how did that pregnancy work out?

With my DS8 the bleeding was red then dark - heavy and clotty. It lasted on and off until about 16 weeks. It was black at the end - gorgeous!
With my DS Angel I bled on and off until he died...
With my DD I bled on and off from the day I got a positive HPT up until 30+ weeks. Not constant but pretty regularly and always after DTD. It ranged from pink & watery to brown. I had a positive hpt at about 12 dpo. This is a rough guess because I wasn't sure when I ovulated.
With my angel I had no bleeding till 11.5 weeks and then it was like a brown discharge which got heavier and thicker over the course of 4-5 days. This was a missed m/c. I had a positive hpt about 14 dpo.
With DS I had a bleed at 9 weeks which was bright red and watery. It then settled to a brown discharge that lasted a few days. We could see on u/sound that the bleed was coming from my cervix. I had no other bleeding during that prg but also decided (with my DH's reluctant consent :rolleyes:) that we would not DTD. The stress caused by the bleeding was just too much. This was an IVF prg and I had a positive blood test at 12 or 13 dpo (can't remember exactly).
1st pg - brown bleeding 2 weeks after BFP (approx 6 weeks). Blighted Ovum.
2nd pg - no bleeding at all. Missed m/c at 9 weeks
3rd pg - brown bleeding at 4.5, 5.5 & 6.5 weeks. Small dark red bleed at 31 weeks, small brown bleed at 32 weeks and moderate bright red bleed at 33 weeks. Luckily Bub was born healthy at 35 weeks and is doing fabulously.
So for me bleeding during pg has been both bad and not so bad. Good luck, I hope everything works out ok for you.

During my 1st pregnancy I had a little brown spotting at about 5 - 6 weeks (as well as some cramping). I went on to have a beautiful baby girl (who is now 19 months old!). I found out I was pregnant at 4 weeks.
My second pregnancy I had cramping and bleeding from about 5 weeks. The blood was red and clotty and it increased over a few days. I lost this baby at 7 weeks and had to have a D & C. I got a positive pregnanct test at around 5 weeks.
Hoping the next pregnancy turns out better!

I had light brown mucusy bleeding at about 6 weeks and a small light brown bleed at about 36 weeks.
Then a very heavy bright red bleed that lasted almost 24 hours off and on at 39 weeks, a day before my ds was born, that begin after intercourse (*ahem* tmi ;) ) The ob at the hospital said it was 'just show' but I doubted that then and I doubt it now- it's something I've been meaning to look into. I didn't think a show, even a bloody one, was supposed to be that heavy and continous.
Obviously, the pregnancy turned out fine :)
