only one that comes to mind is tilly
Milly, Tilly and Tilda
My daughter gets Tilly! I did consider Matty (Maddy) but Tilly was just too cute .xo
I LOVE the name Matilda. If I could use it I would have Milly for short!
2 of my best freinds have a matilda (1 of them spelt matildah) and they both get Tilly, Tilda and Tilly tot for short...very cute!!
aww tilly is sooo cute. thanks girls. i am glad i asked cause i reckon all the ones you have suggested are real cute! :-) now i have to choose between matilda and chelsea! :-)
Oh Chelsea is one of my FAVOURITE names!!!
It's a hard choice - Matilda is so so beautiful but is becoming increasingly popular.
my Matilda gets Tildy just a little differant but suits her to a tee.
Our Matilda gets: Tilda at home, and Matti at other places sometimes. Jovie calls her "Ta" so sometimes we do too.
Matilda wasn't even on our shortlist of names and 3 days after she was born we found Matilda and decided it was perfect. Turned out it was.
Have you looked up meanings of names? It is German for "Fierce warrior maiden" and I reckon it fits my Matilda to the T!!!
I love matilda over chelsea, but both pretty names! :)
Hi!
I know a Matilda and she gets 'Til'.
I totally love Matilda, it definately gets my vote!
I would shorten it to tilly or Maddy/Mati.
Any middle names chosen?
Our Matilda gets called 'Tilda' by just about everyone, sometimes Tildy. That was how her older brother and sister said her name after she was born, so it just stuck.
well it will be chelsea rose or matilda rose which both sound pretty good. i dont think DH is totally fussed on matilda but i will see if i can work my magic! :-)
TIL ... or TILDA ;)
I love both Matilda & Chelsea...
Hard choice for sure!..
I think for me it would end up Chelsea only because hubby doesnt really like Matilda.
