A September Baby for Us!!!

Hi

Well after what felt like an eternity of trying (wasn't really) only 8 months!! I'm pretty sure i can annouce that my husband and I are expecting our first baby :dance:

It hasn't been confirmed by doctors yet but we have done 4 HPT's and they were all clear positives. I'm not due till Wednesday for Period but have gotten very dark lines on all of my pg tests.

Am off to the doctors this afternoon to confirm....although i guess they make you POAS and then blood test (not sure how long blood tests take for results)....

I'm hoping and praying :pray: that 4 pg tests of different brands won't turn out to be false positives!!!!

Sounds good to me! Congratulations! :D My local doctor didn't even bother with a blood test when I told her I'd done a few tests and all were positive. :p Enjoy your pregnancy

As Nelle had said my Dr didn't do a BT either - 4 BFPs from HPTs are enough to confirm pregnancy!

Congrats lovely! I'm having a September one too! Great timing.

Congratulations! :) My GP did a BT, but he wanted to check iron and blood group and a couple of other things anyway so it was all done together. I think I had to wait 2 days for the results.

I'm so excited and wish i could yell it from rooftops but my head says no wait....i will tell family and close friends but anyone else will have to wait till 12 weeks is up :p

Now i'm off to find my belly buddy group :dance:

I'm guessing you had all confirmed at the GP's now or/and waiting for blood test results ;)

I had been trying for years with our daughter & i remember in the GP's room i was simply shaking with excitement (and strangely scared at the same time) ... but ALL was a beautiful experience ... just as it is & will be for you Strawberry :dance:

By the way huge "CONGRATS" to you both (if is a positive which it surely sounds to me it is) :D

(P.S - I had TWO negative results at home BUT was preg)

We're due in September too - and our Dr didn't do a prgnancy test either - decided 4 positives were enough for him!
