4d Scan. When did you have yours?

DH and I just decided tonight that we definitely want to have a 4D scan done for this pregnancy. Just wondering how many weeks you were when you had yours, and if you were happy with it? I really want to go in 2 weeks so that my Mum can come as well. That will make me 29.5 weeks. I called the imaging place and they said I would be best to go next week in case they don't get a good view and I need to re-book. Will one week make that much difference?
Another imaging place says up to 33weeks is fine, but they are double the price. So, I guess I am wondering more for those who had the scans around the 30w mark, were you happy with the result?

i had mine done at 28.5 weeks and it was fantastic!!!!!!!!!!!!

see if u have it too late some bubs like to engage early and u dont get good pics. 29.5 weeks would be a great time to have it done! 28 weeks is even better :)

we were told best images come in between 26 and 29 weeks - and they won't book outside the window at the local place.... we've got ours booked for just shy of 28 weeks...

Book when is best for you

hey, we had ours done at around 26 week mark. we were told not to leave it too late as bubs dosnt have as much room to move, it was definatly worth it and experiance id recomend to anyone. we evan got a stil shot of him smiling:D

But my OB recommended if you are a smaller person you tend to get better shots if it done earlier before 30 weeks and if you are a larger person then do it a bit later, but the further on you are then less room and the more squished ;)

We got ours done at 29wks & 5 days but unfortunately Cookie was already starting engage so we didn't get any great shots of her, but we did get some good shots & you can see how much she looks like her big sister :)

I was told 27-29wks is the best time to get the ultrasound done.
