Love N Care - Adiva Sport - Calling all owners/users/reviewers!
Hi
My wife and I are so confused. :wall: We are about to be first time parents and are struggling with the whole pram selection dilema! We really want something that is reversible (handle or seat), but also has the ability for the seat to lay flat (once the baby is out of the bassinet - which we would be prepared to buy as part of the "right" setup). The Love N Care Adiva Sport appears to really tick all the boxes so far, and from what I have read on the Product Review Australia - your reviews on products and services on the Australian marketplace website has very favourable reviews. And you don't need to buy a separate bassinet!
We looked at the Steelcraft Strider DLX, but the seat doesn't recline sufficiently (in our opinion - and when we asked our friends they said that their babies prefer to sleep either lying flat or at a very slight incline) ... the DLX is almost at 45 degrees in the furthest position ... obviously once out of the bassinet stage.
We also looked at the Steelcraft Elite Reverse Handle, but I have read a lot of user reviews that have bad things to say about the wheels, particularly when you take it off the bitumen (ie on grass or hard dirt). So I think we have eliminated that one too.
Today we say the Valco Rebel Q, which I thought was the answer to our dilema, however, we didn't like how the hood wasn't fastened to the back of the seat (other than via the elasticated band), and also how there were "gaps" on the side by the babies head.
Has anyone out there in bellybelly land had any experience with the Love N Care Adiva Sport, or reviewed it in store, and identifed any issues with it or found anything that annoyed you with it? We are going to have a look at a store in Adelaide that sells them this weekend, so hopefully we can take it for a decent "road test"! However, I would really appreciate any feedback.
Also, if anyone could recommend other options we can consider that meet our requirements, that would also be greatly appreciated.
Many thanks
PS: I apologise for my excessive rambling, but I guess it gives an insight into all the confusing thoughts running around in our heads!!
