Itchy all over !
Hi All,
It started yesterday, i'm itchy all over ! no rash or mozzie bites, nothing obvious, but i am itchy all over !
Any suggestions?
I'm thinking maybe some camile lotion.
But how strange that there is no rash yet i am still itchy, could it be from something i have eaten? Though i havent eaten anything i wouldnt normally.
Anyone else experienced this?
Thanks !
Erin

Hi Erin.
One of my GF's was itchy throughout her second pregnancy. It turned out to be a liver issue brought on by the bubs! I'd book an appointment with your GP, OB or midwife to see what you can do. Sadly there was no fix for my GF's condition - she just had to put up with it! Fortunately it disappeared when her daughter arrived though.
I hope you don't have the same condition as my friend but thought I should share what I knew anyway. Good luck!

sometimes changes in blood sugar levels can cause itchy skin- but not too sure what's going on with you....I think see a GP if it keeps going, just to check it out. I experience itchy skin all over in the mornings if I exercise without eating...oddly it gets worse if i have a swim or shower- eating something sugary helps fix it. but i had that before being pregnant- hope it eases soon!

kidney dysfunction can cause itchy skin with a rise in albumin and kreatnin..
so when you get stress on your kidneys from bubs and increased blood flow and fluid intake and output, can cause kidneys to haev trouble keeping up sometimes..
