question for those with ducted heating...

can you use the fan in summer to circulate air through the house? we have just had a split system air conditioner installed in the lounge room, and i have heard as a way of avoiding installing ducted air con, you can install a single unit (as we have) and use the fan of your ducted heating system to actually cool your house down, by circulating the cool air the a/c is pumping... i hope this makes sense...

i dunno where my instructions are for my ducted heating and can't seem to get the fan going by itself without the heat....

can anyone shed any light?

Can you give the company who installed it a ring and ask them? They should be able to tell you over the phone which buttons to press to give you cool air.
