Tweddle : Day Stay Program I googled this. It's a day stay but am sure they can help somehow. Good luck.

i have heard tweddle is good and also some friends have gone to masada in elsternwick and had some success. may be worth calling them and talking through issues and seeing what feels like a good one for you. your MCHN or GP may also have some good ideas. good luck!

I went to QBH in.... Gosh, i cant remember where it is! Im sure someone else will know where it is. My mind has gone blank on the suburb, sorry darl. It was really good though, it also made me feel better to realise that i wasn't alone and that DS was a FAR better sleeper than most of the others there. Im sure if you Google QBH it'll come up.

Ask your MCHN or call the maternal child health hotline and they will be able to help you :)

Tweddle have a day stay as well as overnight stay and week stay prgrams.
They also have a service called Tweddle at home where they can visit your house

You wont need a referral for QEC. You do however have to call and then book a "phone interview". After your phone interview with them, they let you know their next available spot and they'll also put you on a waiting list for cancellations.
Good luck.

Day stay programs can be very effective, don't be afraid to give that a go over a residential stay if you are offered one. I went with DD (Tweddle day stay in Willimastown) and it absolutely made a difference and saved my sanity. (my chest tightened with anxiety when I read your post and remembered how bad that sort of sleep deprivation and unsettled baby can be!)
Just a word of warning though, there is often a long wait to get in to some of these programs, usually you call, are then placed on a waiting list to get a phone call back (!) and then get an appointment to come to a clinic. It just about made me loose it to have such a long wait to get help. I was lucky and got in on a waiting list so was not driven to desperate measures. If things are really bad for you, I think you can get bumped up the list if you get in touch with a GP - not 100% about that though.
Best of Luck.
ETA: it may be worth calling a few places to get your name on the list for a call back... then at least you know you can get in with the first available. If things improve you can always let the call backs know you are fine.

I've heard good things about the queen Elizabeth Centre in Noble park. They also have a website which has some useful info. They have an audio bit that you can listen to, which I found useful when I was finding things tough with sleeping habits. Not as a substitute for seeing them obviously, but it might just give you some tips that will help you straight away while you're waiting to see someone.
