Hi - just registered. TTC 18mths

I am a new member, just registered today and hoping to find some advice on my story so far...
After one year of TTC i consulted a Dr who referred me to a specialist. Specialist performed every test imaginable and all were normal. Specialist suggested laparoscopy which i wasnt keen about but agreed to anyway. During this procedure Dr punctured my uterus and had to perform laparotomy (basically a c-section without the baby). Recovery has been 4-6 weeks and was a really hard time.
Specialist has said this surgery will not affect fertility and everything is normal - i still dont have any clue as to what the problem is! I also see a naturapath for supplements etc.
I am a healthy 30 year old, have not been pregnant before and do not have any medical issues.
Specialist is talking about IVF and im just not convinced yet.... anyone else in a similar situation or can give me any adivce?
