Sex of the baby!!
Well we had our 20week scan about 4 weeks ago and I was so sure we were having a boy that I was just going to get the lady to confirm that it was a boy. BUT to my surprise aparantly we are having a girl instead haha very cute:lol:. I told her to show me how she could tell and we checked 3 times but my husband is still wanting to have another scan which would be the 3D one to double check. He is making me unsure now:dunno: haha but I am convinced its a girl I even looked at ultra sound pics of boys and girls on the internet to compare!!! Has anyone gone through this before and did you go get another scan or just left it? We dont mind either way what it is but we have a lot of pink stuff that has been given to us! Yikes help

My last baby was a 'girl' apparently at my 19 weeks scan.....i then had to have another at 21 weeks where i was told 'she' was actually a he...i had another scan at 32 weeks (4D scan) where it was confirmed he was definately a he...and my baby was born a boy still :)

Hmmm well maybe its best to do the other scan just to be completley 100% sure for the sake of what has already been done I kind of hope its still a girl haha:pray:. If not have to change everything to blue. Thanks anyways actually my first scan they couldnt tell us anything its only been from the second one that they said anything. I dont get anymore scans either.

hi
my last daughter, they got the scan wrong, told it was a boy at 32 weeks and out popped a girl!!! Lost it's bits on the way out, I think.

I have heard alot of this! Now Im unsure what to believe when we go to check! We were told Annabelle would be a girl and well, she is!
I did make it clear if she wasn't almost 100% sure then not to tell me anything ;)

Why were you so sure at your 20wk scan? I assume that this was based only on what you saw not what anyone said to you.
I was told girl at 18wk scan and the ob confirmed he thought girl at 30wk scan. She came out girl. the tech was sure at the 18wk scan and showed us the 3 lines etc. So i was pretty comfortable it would be a girl (we would have been stuffed it was a boy and she would have been nameless for weeks as we had no boy names).
We didn't want to know this time and I am going to have hours of fun trying to guess from the scans when i pick them up on Friday.

My tech said "90% sure it is a girl" at my 20 weeks scan so I guess that is pretty good chances???
