I will be seeing Dr Benjamin Bopp next week (Gold Coast). Has anyone been to him? Is he good and easy to talk to. Getting a bit nervous as the appt gets closer.
TIA

Hi Bubbles
I saw Ben through my last pregnancy (about 3 yrs ago) when he was still practising at North West. All the nurses there thought he was hot.
I thought he did a great job... offered advice, supported me through a very difficult pregnancy (my son had severe heart complications in-utero) and has a great sense of humor and isn't pretentious at all.
So all in all, loved him.
Welcome to BB Bubbles. I haven't heard of Dr Bopp myself (I live in Brissy), but just wanted to wish you all the best for your appointment next week.
Sorry if I am hijacking Bubble's post but I am in the same boat.
I am off to see a specialist next week and am terrified. It is the unknown that I don't like.
Does anyone have any any useful tips with how to deal with them or what to expect? Anything would be helpful.

Taff - I can recommend getting hold of a good book like "Getting Pregnant" by Robert Jansen. It helps a great deal with understanding the process of investigating and treating infertility. It answers a lot of questions but if anything needs clarifying for your particular situation, you can check with your specialist. Good luck with the appointment - I hope you get a lovely doctor who is kind, patient and understanding. And if you don't, feel free to seek another!
Bubble - hope things went well for you too.

Thanks! I will try and track it down.
Am still really nervous but am now at least trying not to work myself into a tizz - I figure that I won't be able to get much out of the appointment if I am not concentrating.
Bubbles - hope that you are going well with everything too
Thanks again
