Crohn's sufferers

I know there is another Crohns thread going at the moment but i didnt want to hijack it and im asking different questions so thought i would start my own thread about it.

Im wondering if those suffering from Crohns can tell me their stories. Symptoms, flare ups, ways of fixing it etc. Anything you know really.

I had severe reflux when pregnant with my latest baby last year and giving birth did not fix it. My symptoms are still as strong as before. I went to my gastroenterologist the other week and he suggested Crohn's.

I get alot of heartburn when not medicated though. Does this sound consistent? Or more like GERD?

I went off my meds a few months ago and within weeks i had heartburn and reflux and suddenly started vomitting violently out of nowhere and couldnt stop. I took my meds again and it all settled. I also need a higher dose of meds than i should to control pain and heartburn. Which is why gastro dr is looking at Crohns and maybe not GERD.
