Does anyone know whether undies are made in smaller sizes than 2/3. My DD 18mths has decided she is ready to be TT and while we are a little (maybe a big) way off needing undies I really don't think she would fit into a size 2/3. In clothes she is just a size 1.
NO I don't think they come any smaller!
I have a friend who looked everywhere and wasnt able to find any - only the towelling training ones :(
Nope me too, we just had saggy baggys for a while.
Darcy can still fit a 1 in pants (they are just really short) and her's fit her OK now though.
My MIL bought some organic cotton covers from somewere that came in size 000 that fit Vy like a glove.
they looked like training pants but were classed as a nappy cover????

My DD is the same, size 1 in pants and has a small tooshie but I bought some size 2 undies from the supermarket just to see if the would fit and they were perfect, not too baggy but with room to grow and likewise we have started TT but are a long way off being in undies.
No, haven't seen them any smaller. Buy size 2/3, wash them in hot water and stick them in the dryer!
My DS has a tiny little bum and can still wear some size 1 shorts but this size does fit him perfectly.
One advantage of them being a bit big is that they are easier for them to pull down...handy in the early stages of TT.
My daughter has saggy knickers. :)
I have the same problem, we are ECing MJ and so she wears knickers during the day when at home... as she is only 12mths there is no way that she is able to fit the 2-3 undies.
Mum found that pumpkin patch do a 1-2 size and these fit her OK - she is quite small so i am sure they should fit an 18mth old.

I was just looking at a site called Noonee Wilga and they do small knickers for early trainers and EC users. Not exactly cheap though.
I wonder if size 2-3 are to big, if you could just sew a little plet in them that you could let out when they grow, not the ideal solution but could work.
That would be my suggestion too. Just sew the side seams in a little bit on both sides.
I'm sure I will have the same problem with DD as she is a little bod too.
I got some Bright Bots terry training pants in a size 1 from David Jones for about $5 - but I'm sure I have also seen them at Best & Less so have a look there.
We had a saggy bum for a long time too! Seems to be a common problem, maybe the undie makers out there need to do something about it....
DS can still fit a size 0 in shorts but I bought him a packet of Wiggles 2-3 undies at Target. I held them up against the other 2-3's in other labels and they are noticeably smaller. They were around $15 for a pack of 5 and they came in girl and boy prints. They fit him perfectly and he isn't even 10 kgs yet at almost 20 months.
