Once an Irritable Uterus, always an Irritable Uterus??

Can anyone help with previous experience or some knowledge?

My son was born 4.5 years ago after a very high risk and complicated pregnancy. One of our preg complications was an Irritable Uterus (another great medical term). My OB thinks I have a 50/50 chance of getting the same thing again which worries me as it led to several bouts of Threatened Pre-Term Labour with me on a combination of home rest, hospital stays and drugs from 24 weeks.

I THINK I have felt a few "tightenings" already. Am I imagining it or is it possible that it has kicked off again and earlier this time?

Any one else had this??
