First ultrasound, couldn't see much

Hi all, so im 6.5 weeks pregnant now with number 2... I had a quick ultrasound this morning at the doctors office using his old machine, he saw a sack (measuring 6.5 weeks) but couldn't really make out anything else he said there might be something else there but it is too early to see.

I am stressing big time, I thought we would be able to see a heart beat.

Has anyone else had similar experiences??

for my first scan at 6 weeks they couldn't see much so i went back a week later and saw heartbeat arm and leg buds. one week can make a huge difference. dont stress im sure everythings ok. :hug:

I did too at a similar time - at obs very hard to see and had a scan at a radiology place a few days later and all fine, in fact for a few seconds she thought there were 2!!

yeah- i had no HB till 8 weeks!! waiting will maek all the diff!!

This was me too...so my Obs did an internal (freaking my DH out...he saud "Would you like me to leave" I saud " Its going to get WAAAYY less dignified than this!" LOL) and all was fine. Goodluck.

Hi everyone, thanks for your replies... I go back on Wednesday for another scan, so fingers crossed. Have started getting morning sickness the last few days so hoping thats a good sign?

Hang in there Honey. I had a scan at 6w5d and all we saw was the sac. Nothing else. Its just early thats all. :hug:

I hope everything was fine - I just wanted to say that this pregnancy I had a scan around 6 weeks and showed sack and baby but too small too measure but when I went back at 9 week everything was AWESOME!!! So it can be fine - your dates might have been out slightly too. Mine are about 5 days out.

hi everyone! Thanks for your care! Everything was.. Fine! Baby's heart beat was 135 bpm, in the right position and measuring just over 7 weeks. The only small thing is i have a large cyst in my ovary but the said its nothing to worry about. Thanks again for your advice and concern.
