Anyone have a good OB in Brisbane?

Hi girls-
I'm looking for an OB in Brisbane and wondered if anyone could recommend someone. We're hoping to give birth at the Marter Private Hospital. I have an appointment with FS on Wednesday, and I expect he'll give me a list of people, but thought I'd ask girlfriends and BB gals who may have experience with a good OB.

Any feedback would be appreciated -- am a little overwhelmed about this part at the moment.

Any thoughts? Any suggestions?

I am newly preggers myself but have the added advantage of working at the Mater Mothers so I have seen the majority of Obs in action!

If you are interested in having a natural delivery you can't go past who I think are the best Obs in Brisbane - Dr Doug Keeping and Dr Len Yared with the Qld Fertility Group. Both are bordering on retirement, they have been around for decades, they are no nonsense no fuss kinda men - and fantastic at what they do. (these guys you would have to be booked in before you are about 5 1/2 weeks or else they will be booked out, they are EXTREMELY popular). Personally I am going to Doug.

If you want younger fresher faces Dr Paul Bretz and Dr Vincent Loh with the Arrivals Group are also very good.

If you want a ceasarean Dr Gino Pecararo does mainly these. If you don't want a ceaser i would stay well clear of him.

Hope this is of some help.....get in early though - the more popular guys book out really fast.

I used Dr Fiona Dalzel. She was really good! Very friendly and relaxed! She was my best friends ob too when she was pregnant with her twins!
